On the morning of May 3rd, End of the Year Dance Committee members and chaperones saddled up for the End of the Year Dance. Filled with excitement, members set up cardboard figures, created balloon arches, set bales of hay on tables, and artfully decorated the Gulliver Prep gym.

Back at school, seventh and eighth grade students were feverishly discussing what fabulous fashions they would wear to the western themed dance. “I was really excited for the dance, and I couldn’t wait to hang out with my friends,” said Alessandra Maggioni. The dance was a success due to the hard work of the End of the Year Dance Committee.

Walking into the completely transformed Prep gym was a complete surprise to students. The sheer difference between the usual uniform wear and the fancy dress was an astonishing sight. With the music blasting, students showed off their moves on the dance floor. When students were not dancing, they were chatting, eating, or taking pictures in the photo booth.

The photo-booth was a new addition to the dance and was a huge hit. Students took hundreds of photos with friends.  The best part was that the pictures were produced instantaneously and guests took home their photo-strips as a keepsake from the dance. See below for some of the crazy photos our students took!
