Found_Alive_Map3About a decade ago, three women went missing in the city of Cleveland, Ohio. Amanda Berry (27), Michelle Knight (32), and Gina DeJesus (23) were held in captivity for ten years in a house. “I’ve been kidnapped and I’ve been missing for 10 years and I’m, I’m here, I’m free now,” pleaded victim Amanda Berry to the 911 operator. According to the Ohio Police, they went to look and observe the house in 2004 but they did not investigate inside. Ariel Castro, Onil Castro, and Pedro Castro were three brothers, aged between 50 and 54, were arrested on Monday, May, 6th. Authorities however did not  released any names and did not report any details about what happened to the three brothers or about the charges they may face. Ariel Castro apparently was a bus driver for the Cleveland School District. The school did confirm his employment but sadly did not give details. “A 6 year-old girl believed to be Berry’s daughter was also found in the home,” reported Deputy Police Chief Ed Tomba. Amanda Berry, Michelle Knight, and Gina DeJesus are said to be in good heath and were reunited with the family they have not seen in many years. The women still remain in seclusion. Ms. Berry sadly did not celebrate her freedom with her mom as she died in March of 2006 due to pancreatitis and other ailments. The Ohio Police found 16 evidence pieces including whips and chains on the walls in the garage with help from the police dogs. This tragedy has affected many hearts, and has strengthen the Berry family, the Knight family, and the DeJesus family. Neighbor and Cleveland resident Charles Ramsey helped the three women escape.
