There’s an App for That: A Review of Vine

By Leah Rodman and Angelica Rossi

vine-image-2Capture, post, and share with others on the new top rated app called Vine. Vine has become a popular way for users to share a unique view of their lives. According to the Apple iTunes Store, “Vine is the best way to see and share life in motion. Create short, beautiful, looping videos in a simple and fun way for your friends and family to see.” Vine is free and allows unlimited uploads.  A user is able to post videos instantly and share them with their other social media networks. There are many Vine users at Gulliver Middle School.  Eighth grade Vine enthusiast Ryan Simkins enjoys using Vine because she can capture moments over the span of the entire day. “I like Vine because I can take a photo, pause, and come back to it later,” said Simkins. The app is similar to Instagram as users can find, follow, and interact with friends.  You can also explore trending posts and featured hashtags. The Raider Flash has a Vine account but we aren’t quite ready to use it yet.  What would you like to see captured on our account?
